Post by Alan ThirdWell, it's good that you're still there, I moved jobs, but I prolly told
you that.
to be honest with you, I can't remember. I suspect you did but my
memory's like a sieve...
Well, IIRC you did boot some girl up the arse.
Oh wow, that would have been AGES ago! Hehehehe.
No, no more fights. ;)
Yeah the things that stick in my memory hang around for a little
while.
Are ya still doing all that theatre stuff?
Post by Alan ThirdAt the moment I'm gearing myself up for the company christmas events,
i.e. department lunches and dinners etc
Not looking forward to the formal dinner tbh, as dressing up smart etc
ain't really my scene. Still there will be all the office girls in their
nice dresses, so there is a form of compensation in that I guess.
Yay! Smartly dressed Campster!
It's not really a yay, I've had to buy some new stuff: Shoes & Bowtie
Plus rent the DJ, Trous and Shirt.
Then I realized I don't know how to tie a bowtie, so I've been
watching demo videos on Youtube, it's easier than I'd expected.
Also I'm probably going to be sick on the rented suit, or rip it etc.
These things are fraught with danger :(
Worse yet I'll probably fall onto one of the office girls, or bosses
and be sick on them.
If I'm not fired before saturday, as one of the projects I've been
working on has gone proper titsup it would seem :(
Post by Alan ThirdI'm rarely smartly dressed. I've been
warned that my cousin's getting married next year and I may have to go to
her wedding, so I guess I'll be having to dress up smart for that...
Yeah I recommend it, at the Edinburgh wedding I wasn't very smartly
dressed and felt like a complete pillock. My cuz, uncle, granddad, the
best man and some others all wore nice suits/kilts with their medals
on display, and I wore what can best be described as a tank top.
Having said which, when you're as short and round as me, it's hard to
look smart in anything.
Post by Alan ThirdOh and I lost about 3.5 stone this year... but then, that's just weight
I put on last year :(
Well done anyway! I dunno what my weight's doing, aside from being over-
abundant.
Even with that weight gone I'm still a fatso, I've been toying with
the idea of getting a bike, but the weather has been so foul I cannae
be bothered.
Post by Alan ThirdI went to Edinburgh and it was dry and surprisingly warm. Though there
were a lot of tramps around, and one was in an electric wheelchair, give
him a cardboard box, and he's basically a homeless guy with his own RV.
Sweet, Mobile-homeless! Edinburgh used to be FULL of homeless people, but
they threw a lot of them out a few years back.
Well, I hope they were recycled. Looked like they were building a tram
service when I walked through town, maybe the homeless will curl up
and be the wheels for that?
Maybe they all got given houses... why we don't just do that anyway
I'll never know.
